WRC 6 FIA World Rally Championship

While French developer Kylotonn wasn’t able to dethrone the Dirt Rally in this niche genre, WRC 6 still offers an enjoyable experience for racing game fans. The game features a wide selection of tracks, improved handling from the previous game, and is the first in the series to feature vehicles from car manufacturer Toyota.
The game’s release was followed by mixed reception back in October 2016. While it had some improvements over the previous entry, it was criticized for having a small selection of vehicles and noticeable performance issues with the game’s engine.
Far Cry 2
Available: January 16 to 31 (Xbox One and Xbox 360)
Serving as a follow-up to the original Far Cry, Ubisoft’s open-world first-person shooter Far Cry 2 places you in the middle of an African nation during a civil war. Playing as a mercenary, you are tasked with finding and assassinating an elusive arms dealer named The Jackal.
The game was praised by critics when it first released in October 2008 for its realistic open-world. Far Cry 2 features a day/night cycle as well as a weather system and weapons that degrade from use over time.
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light
Available: January 1 -15 (Xbox One and Xbox 360)
As a spin-off title for the Tomb Raider series, Crystal Dynamics’ action-adventure game Guardian of Light features arcade-inspired mechanics as well as a focus on cooperative gameplay. You take control of the infamous adventurer Lara Croft in the single-player campaign, with a second player able to join at any time, playing as Totec, an ancient Mayan warrior resurrected by Lara.
Throughout the game, players solve puzzles and defeat enemies in order to stop the evil spirit Xolotl and retrieve the Mirror of Smoke. Guardian of Light was well-received when it first released in August 2010, with many critics and fans enjoying its isometric camera and the shift in gameplay from traditional Tomb Raider games.
