When it comes to multiplayer shooting mayhem, none could top what Brawl Stars can offer. Its multiple game modes set the stage for an equally colorful cast of characters.
Chaos reigns in Brawl Stars, but you can use this to your advantage by optimizing your play around the best characters (called Brawlers).
Since each Brawler has a unique toolkit that fits with each game mode, we’ve prepared several tier lists that cater to each of these modes. This is the best way to rank each Brawler, as it avoids lumping them into a one-dimensional style of evaluation.
The final section will contain a list of all Brawlers, as well as a description of their abilities. You can skip ahead to that list here.
Now with that out of the way, let’s dive right into the tier lists.
Note that since only a handful of Brawlers are viable per game mode, each tier list will only have tiers S to C. If a Brawler is not included, that means they do not fit in that game mode at all.

Gem Grab Tier List
Gem Grab is the “default” game mode in Brawl Stars because of its popularity. It’s a 3v3 game where the goal is to carry 10 gems (as a team) for 15 seconds.
A player will drop their gems as soon as they are defeated, so high HP and powerful attacks are crucial in this mode.

Bounty Tier List
Bounty is a timed mode that lasts for 2 ½ minutes. It’s a 3v3 team match where the goal is simply to defeat as many enemy Brawlers as you can. Every time you defeat an opponent, your bounty rises. When you eventually get defeated, your total bounty will be added to the opponent’s score.
Bounty is a tense game mode where comebacks are not a foreign concept. Offensive power and mobility are key stats here because you want to be able to rack up those kills while avoiding damage yourself.
